This was another interesting week. Even though im not training my companion, he has been out 7 months, I feel like I am. He is a stud, he was baptized about 2 years ago and really has desires to serve God. He just doesn´t know how to speak the Language very well and so I end up teaching the whole lesson and its weird. So yeah, we´re trying to improve all that. But I know that he is my companion for a reason and there is something for me to learn and I will be a better missionary and or person because of it. Not too much new stuff to talk about, we had a good lesson with Lucas in the church with our president of the quorum of elders and both the ward missionaries who are pretty much the only people in the ward we can rely on. Our missonaries of the ward are 2 hermanas who are sisters and are 25 and 29 ish. But they are just so much help. If all of us could be like them, the work would be blasting forward like crazy. We put a baptismal date for Lucas but he didnt come to church on Sunday, so we are going to talk with him soon and see whats up. What stinks is that we cant have daily contact with him.
Estella Sr. came to chruch but had to leave early. but she came! thats a good sign. we also had another lady named patricia that we are trying to hlp but has a bunch of problems, so she isn´t progressing a ton but she came for the 2nd time this sunday.
Anyways, I taught the lesson on sunday with all the ward together for a special missionary lesson where we tried to get everyone excited to help out in the work. It went really well, and Everyone left excited and ready to get going. Even our investigators that were in church were excited to go share the gospel! I hope that feeling lasts...
So we have been thinking of an activity that we can do as a ward to get everyone excited and to bring friends and stuff too. We are going to do a talent show in the church, because everyone wants to do that. everyone is pretty excited, but I dont know what im gonna do... any ideas?
anyways, members are the key to missionary work, and you are members. I know you are doing great things to be missionaries! I love you all.
