Good Week

Hey family,
We had a great week this week, even though we didnt reach our goals... I was pretty bummed about that, but we are finding people and teaching.  So thats going well!  I still dont know who my new comp is going to be, so you´ll have to wait till next week.  First i´ll tell you really quick about Estella and her daughter Estella.  We recently started teaching them this week, estella jr. we contacted in the street and said that we could pass by, so we did and we found estella Sr. who talked with the missionaries a long time ago.  She is really interested and but very catholic.  Estella Jr. doesnt really believe in anything but from what she heard, sh really would like to be able to believe.  she wants to feel the same was as we do(i feel like that sounds weird?).  Estella Sr. really believes what we taught is true and she kept telling us how excited she was to go read, pray and find out for herself.  THe hard part is that we cant enter the house, so we teach out on the patio, but its cold... but we see lots of blessings when we complete with ALL the commandments.  anyways, Estella Sr. accepted a baptismal date and i´ll keep you posted on those two.
I´ve been working on relying more on the spirit.  Its hard to explain, but i feel like its a talent that i´m developing.  When they say still small voice, its really small, so we have to listen really hard.
Anyways, so we felt impressed to clap a block after one of our citas fell through.  The first house we clapped,  a kid 20 years old came out and started talking to us.  His name is Lucas, and he´s had a pretty rough go at life.  Mostly because of his decisions but still...  His family is evangelista and we aren´t really welcome there... but Lucas doesn´t like his families church so he started studying everything.  He read stuff from the umandistas, the jews, testigos, and one day he found in his house  a book of mormon. He started reading it and liked what he read.  about one hour later we clapped his door.  He thought it was kinda weird, but we know what happened.  Anyways, he came to church on sunday, and he like that.  He is making friends wiht the Young adults.
anyways i´ll keep you posted on all that but in total we had 4 people come to church.  Our goal was 5 but still...
I´ve been also working on having more faith, its definitely a gift that we need to ask and do our best to obtain.
anyways, I hope that you are all feasting upon the words of Christ, because they will bring us to Eternal Life.
Exercise your faith in showing obedience.  show the Lord that you´re willing to follow him.
I love you All and hope that all is well at home.  Don´t worry about me, I´m fine, I know im where i´m supposed to be. (reminds me of lots of "Chats" I had with dad back in the day)

Love Elder Skousen
