Hello from Ituzaingo
its hard to say, but its a nice place. Its WAY less ghetto here. which is good, for a change.
1. my new comps name is Sheldon Anderson from california. he´s pretty cool, this is his last transfer in the mission so he´s practically dead...
2. We have a pretty nice pench, we live on the second floor of a pretty nice house. the pench is good. it was dirty but i cleaned it today. :)
3. the ward here is pretty good, we actually have a ward mission leader and he's a stud, he´s super helpful and everything. Im excited to work with him and the ward.
4. I haven't gotten a package yet, when did you send it?
anyways, so I got here on wednesday and we had a baptism on Saturday, this 14 year old girl named Sofie. she´s pretty great, her dad is a member way inactive and isn´t married with her mom, but they are working on a bunch of stuff and hopefully they will get married and the mom will get baptized. I wasn't too stoked to find out i was coming here because this is the zone with pretty much the worst numbers in the whole mission... but at least thats something we can change. I´m kinda bummed i didn't really get to say goodbye to everyone back in Parque, i didn't realize how much i would miss them all. its kinda lame, they started telling us the changes late the night before so we dont have time to visit people, because people werent working when the found they were getting transfered... lame.... oh well hopefully i can visit them after the mission or something. I really hope angelica and claudia keep progressing and stuff. i´ll write elder Edward's and see how they´re doing.
anyways, not too much happened this week, we had the baptismal service on saturday and that was really good. I don't play the piano in the ward, they have somebody to do it thats actually good... we clapped a few blocks in the rich part of the area where the houses are big and stuff, pretty much nobody wanted to talk to us but it was fun to see big houses and i found out that not all of argentina is as ghetto as i thought. I don't know the area at all so thats annoying cuz im just lost all the time...
I´m sorry that this letter stinks, but i just cant really think of anything to write about really... I met a kid that went to jared´s mission at about the same time as him, his last name is michia, but doesn't remember jared at all. so i hope all is well at home, are siera and jake hittin up the temple? siera promised me... just sayin'... also they don't ever write me but thats cool i guess. mom dad jared and nicole and grandma do. usually... actually mom and dad i don't think have missed a week. so thanks for that you guys are great!
I love you all and i´ll write a better letter next week ok?
Elder Skousen
